Great summary in Xconomy Seattle of Brad Feld’s (Foundry Group, Mobius Venture Capital, and TechStars) take on whether the VC model is broken or not. Brad recently gave what appears to have been an insightful and well attended talk here in Seattle, and is someone I know of from my days in the Bay Area. He was an investor in many of my then startup client companies when I was there from ’98-’02.

I’m really sorry I was unable to attend this event because he’s a super smart guy with a knack for picking winners. I also enjoyed reading this recap post about his presentation because I was reminded of what a straight-shooter sounds like (miss that) and because we’ve had Boulder on the brain for some time now.

Outside perspectives are good for Seattle
